Gwagwalada Central Ward
Communities under this ward are Sabon-garin, Dagiri, Ungwan-dodo, Ungwan-azara, Ungwan-bassa.

Quarters Ward
Quarters ward has FCDA staff qtrs (Kotangora estate), Phases 1, 2, 3 qtrs.

Kutunku Ward
Kutunku ward has Angwan Jeshi 1&2, Angwan Fulani 1&2, Angwan Grade, New Kutunku, Old Kutunku, Abbattoir, Angwan Shanu, Stadium Layout.

Gwako Ward
Gwako ward has Giri Dagaci, Giri Shika, Giri Kpasele, Kpakuru 1&2, Gwako 1&2, Giri Magaji.

Paiko Ward
Paiko ward had Kace, Kasanki, Passo, Kaida Tsoho, Lukuku, Shishida, Paikon Kore, Kpanigo.

Dobi Ward
Dobi, Kaida, Dawaki, Dako, Warambe, Tudun Wasa, Kwalita, Pette, Ashara, Maje, Gongon, Dota, Wumi, Kogokpe, Goi, Dadabiri, Pebeyi, Tsauni, Pagada 1&2, Ledi 1&2, Alipi, Kaida Sabo.

Ibwa Ward
Ibwa 1&2, Rafin Zurfi, Dukwa, Wuna, Gurfata, Shidna, Ika 1&2, Chebodna, Kwainuku, Dada, Ekpye, Alipyi, Lafiyan Bassa.

Zuba Ward
Kauratsu, Apiya Boroki, Surubu, Minister’s Hill, Gbegbenti, Kuku Adagba, Angwan Rabiu, Gbakiza, Kuku Ama’Iwa.

Tunga-Maje Ward
Tunga Maje, Anagada, Chezoko, Bozako, Shenagu.

Ikwa Ward
Yimi, Machada, Shaga, Tunga Ladan, Gaji.

These wards, with the villages and communities under them, are effectively monitored and controlled by the twenty (20) District Heads and assisted by forty-seven (47) Village Heads.
To ensure that the safety of lives and properties are given topmost priorities, the traditional rulers within these various communities are mandated to report any acts that are capable of causing disaffection among the people.
